Wishlist - an update

Wishes changes with the time. I've got many cards here and now my priorities are:
  • Plants, Fungi and Nature - as I am Biologist
  • Cards from Russia, Ukraine and all the "former" USSR countries- years ago I felt in love with this lands and their people
  • Islamic cards - as a close friend is actively practicing and I want to learn more
  • Maps - as they give interesting information
  • UNESCO - as they (will) teach me about the world, for the UNESCO idea and also because I liked the UNESCO groups most
  • Art - I like it. It surprise me, gives another view point and shares ideas. In most cases art also brings a very fresh feeling with it.
  • Views and many other cards - as people choose to send them and to tell something about their lives and cultures there
    .

Also I'm happy with:

  • Mountains
  • Wildlife
  • National Parks
  • Antarctica & Arctic
  • Alaska
  • TEMPLES
  • Books
  • Le Petit Prince (Little Prince)
  • Origami
  • Textile prints (fabrics)
  • LADYBUGS
  • Handmade cards
  • Surprise…

  • The Holy Quran Verses and any other
  • Islamic postcards

.
I can answer with the same number cards from my country - Bulgaria. Please leave me a note.

Thank you for answering!

Lillya

.
PS - so far my fellow postcrossers have sent me: cards from Malasia (Greetings, Mosques and cards from the Islamic Art Museum) and from Bahrein (the old Khamis Mosque).

I’m inviting you to take part at mine
“Russia and Ukraine in postcards"
project
.
Please, swap with me cards and/or send local newspapers, brochures, and short texts, links to pages, where I could gather additional information from.
.
It is going to be a presentation and a small exhibition for our "Russia and foreign countries friendship club" here at Samokov. I would like to gather as many and as beautiful as possible variety of postcards from and about Russia, Ukraine and all the "former soviet countries" (sorry for using this expression, but don't know how to express it in a better and still short way).Using the postcards I'll make a presentation after the summer break and most probably after the school starts. There is also a 'youth' 'department' – a group at a school here who are studying Russian and organising different events for the wide public too. So if the project turns into a good exposition it will stay for a while at the school too. I’m planning to have a blog about it too.
.
About the cards:
Please, choose cards, which you would use to present your country. These could be views, art, children cards and many others. Just for example – last year there was a presentation even about the Russian mafia and for the next one there is a planned gathering, where each one must ‘bring’ at least one Russian joke – so everything!
.
It is good to have a variety of cards - some 'surprises' - views from small and unknown places will make a good atmosphere and will give us a chance to get to know your land better.
.
I would also love to gather the UNESCO sites, protected areas and nature phenomena. Cards from Kiev, Vladimir, “Успенски събор”, Suzdal, Moskva, Troitske-Sergievskii Posad, , Pereslaval-Zaleski, Rostov, Iaroslavl, etc are more than welcomed! Also Ekaterininbourg, Tumen, whole Siberia, Kostroma – the regions and places, where some of the people have been working in the past. Any new idea is welcome.
Please, write the cards in Russian or Ukrainian. Tell us something about the picture on the card and/or about you and your life.
.
About the numbers:
1:1; Usually I am exchanging single signed and stamped cards or written and in an envelope 3 (same postage rate as a single stamped card) or 10 (next category). I am ready to accept new ideas too.
.
In other words:
I’m looking for 1:1 private swaps. I need cards from and about Ukraine and Russia. In exchange for your cards I can offer cards from my country – Bulgaria. You can have a look at my albums ‘FOR TRADE” at my photos page.

A wish-list section, there is also on my geocities page. This blog is for my 'temporary' wishlists. Now the topic are Russia and Ukraine - please, check the next post.
